MY UI/UX DESIGN PROCESS

       Understanding the Problem

    • Understand the Users and Their Pain Points"

    • Before jumping to solutions, I focus on identifying the root of the issue.

    • Example: Food Delivery App Problem

    • Users say it’s hard to search for restaurants and place orders quickly.

    • What I Do:

    • Interview users: "Why is the app hard to use?"

    • Analyze data: I find 80% of users drop off on the search screen.

    • Research competitors: Apps like Uber Eats or DoorDash make search easier.

    • Finding: The search bar is hard to find, and filters are too complex.

"Organize the Flow and Create a Simple Structure"

Once I understand the problem, I design the user journey and organize the app content logically.

    Example Solution:

    • User Flow:

      1. Open the app.

      2. Find a clear search bar at the top.

      3. Browse "Popular Restaurants" on the home screen.

      4. Place an order quickly.

    • Information Architecture:

      • Section 1: Search Bar at the top.

      • Section 2: Popular Restaurants cards.

      • Section 3: Personalized "Favorites" and "Recently Ordered."

Goal: Fewer taps, faster search, and a clear path to ordering.

  • user research.png

I start designing simple screens to visualize the solution.

    Example: Wireframing and Prototyping

    • Low-Fidelity Wireframes:

      • I sketch a layout where:

        • The search bar is large and prominent at the top.

        • A section for Popular Restaurants appears right below.

        • Filters like Cuisine and Price are clear with icons.

    • High-Fidelity Prototype:

      • I design a clickable prototype in Figma where users can:

        • Tap on "Popular Restaurants."

        • Use the search bar to find dishes.

        • Place an order in 3 steps.

    Visual Example:
The app looks clean, organized, and user-friendly, like this:
